5 Reasons Why 14th November is celebrated as Children's Day!

Happy Children’s Day, to all of you, because obviously at one point of time, you were  also part of the children community! Growing up might have taken a toll upon you but that’s the cycle of life. But being a child is one of those happy feelings in this world.

Ok, so have you on any day, given a thought about why Children’s Day is celebrated across our country on 14th of November? What is so special about the date? Why does India not celebrate Children’s Day on the same day of 20th November when the entire world celebrates Universal Children’s Day?
Worry not! I am here to solve all your queries in no time. Just read on.

1. 14th November happens to be our Great Chacha Nehru’s birthday: Whoaa! That’s quite sumptuous. But why Chacha? Why not any other great personality? No one can forget what Modi did. According to the Congress, Modi is the root cause of all the evil. He must have travelled back in time and created a very harsh scenario for all the children. Nehru must have clearly defeated the villain-Modi and saved our children. Nehru finally became the first Prime Minister of Independent India. Otherwise, India would have been doomed, along with all their valuable children.

2. Because he loved his own Children: Yes! Look around you. Be it the names of Stadiums, Sports Tournaments, Airports, Railway Stations, numerous schemes or even the names of countless awards, every single damn thing is named after the Nehru-Gandhi family clan. He ensured that he, along with his children would be remembered across India forever. Such Greatness! Rarely is such immensity seen in a single person! A big round of applause for Chacha!

3. Because he also loved other Children: Well, do you love children? Have you seen any person show their love towards children? No, right! Other people would loath about children. People would employ children to work in roadside dhabas and at homes. Children of his time were deprived of basic education and basic health rights. In fact, it was a dark age in the lives of all the children. Until, obviously Chacha Nehru, the savior of the children came along! He saved all the children from their plights and which is the reason, today we don’t see a single children working in people’s houses, let alone roadside dhabas. Or do you? In fact, child labour is just a pseudo-phrase. Slow Claps!

4. Because he made many contributions to the children of the country: Who can forget the amount of contributions he made for the children of our country! He made education free and compulsory for all the children. He provided free food and shelter for all the children. He left behind a legacy, only few can match on this planet. Such aura! Hence, with his impact, India had achieved 100% literacy even before Panditji’s death in 1964. All Hail Chacha!

5. Because…..err….he obviously loved children: People like Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Manohar Parrikar and Arun Jaitley are prime examples of human beings who hate children. In fact, the entire BJP-clan, including their dark followers, known as the ‘Bhakts’ hate children. Even parents hate their own children. Nobody loves or even loved children, except for our very own Chacha Nehru, which is why 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day. Very much justified, right? Who comes to your mind when you imagine a person who only loves children? Obviously, dear old Chacha Ji!

Pandit Nehru seen laughing-out-loud (LOL) with one of his favourite children

Chacha Ji seen here, smoking, which wasn't injurious to health in those times maybe!

Haters would quibble that Children's Day shouldn't be celebrated on this great personality's birthday. But why not? Look around you. For his great efforts, each and every child in our country goes to school. Rag-pickers, beggars, small time thieves and malnourished kids do not exist in India. Why?

Because of our Chacha Ji!

All hail the first Supreme Leader of our country!

  3. By celebrating his birthday as Children's day we actually humiliate the children. On a lighter note, I couldn't stop myself from laughing on seeing the 'LOL' pic.
