Farewell Royal Group of Institutions: Part 1
Sometimes, sentiments take the better of any human being,
however emotionless he or she has been in his or her daily life. Being sorrow is the absence
of ecstatic joy in our lives. Surpassing it is the real win!
When the calendar year 2012 had July in its pages, I was to be
introduced to a completely new episode in my life. A new phase into your life
is obviously an exciting part to be explored. The opportunity of seeking the
unseen and unheard territories is another prospect to look forward to. Meeting
new friends and creating new albums of nostalgic memories is also an important part
of the content. Life had already been preparing for the new and exciting
ventures. And after I stepped foot on the grass of Royal Group of Institutions,
the rest can only be guaranteed a notable history.
Four years might be a pretty long time for any normal human
being but for an engineering student, it is only a handful amount of time to
cherish upon. It was only like yesterday that I had stepped into this college. The
wonderful and eye-catching infrastructure was obviously an instant attraction
but the legitimate treasures were the people within, professors and students,
and all the people associated with the college. I had finally opened a new
chapter in my life. Initially, I had many reservations to many of the earthly things.
Talking to new people, lingering around with a bunch of ultra-cool guys,
bunking classes, making micro-seconds long eye contact with pretty girls, chatting
with them, playing music on the stage, hosting a quiz in an auditorium-full of
people and most importantly, getting attached to a group of human beings, who
in the best possible way, would in the future bring a broad smile on my face:
all these were mere dreams for a gullible person like me. But surviving four
memorable and precious years in this college had the better of my reservations.
Elaborately stating them would take an entirely different blog post but on a
shorter note: I had conquered each and every reservation of mine in these four
years.
And within these years, when things were only getting happier,
friends were getting closer, classes were getting merrier and teachers all the
way cooler, the last days had arrived and struck us with an absolute thunder. The
four years seem to have come and gone by with a moment of flash. This magical
era will obviously be glued in our remembrance for an entire lifetime. The
nostalgia would be intact till the very last breath. Indefinite strands of
thought associated with these years will bring tears of joy as well as sadness.
A few photographic recollection of this marvelous period in the near-future may
bring back a bagful of cheerful memories in our minds. People will come and
people will go. And however adamantly we try, some friends will stay and some
friends unfortunately will fade away. But the pain and hysteria associated with
it will remain forever, beyond this lifetime.
I do seriously hope that in a parallel Universe, I will be able to relive these
four years once again, rejoice the memories spent with the best group of
buddies one can ever have and spend a little more time relaxing in the
air-cooled classroom, receiving reprimands from all the mechanical professors for
creating a ruckus inside it! Wow!
It is alwaz a treat to the mind to read your posts. Stay in touch..stay blessed
