Are You Addicted to Astrology?

Not doing well in studies?

Not having the dream job?

Not getting married?

Not getting pregnant?

Well, hold on before you think too far. These aren't my problems. These are just some silly out-of-the-box problems being cited by advertisements for astrologers in a couple of local channels. The remedy for these problems: Go and visit the astrologer to solve these problems! I don’t know if viewers can be really trapped by such advertisements but I find this astrology thing really funny. How can some strange fellow make your studies improve or help you get your dream job by referring some costly stones? And if getting married was any problem, then think about the problem of not getting pregnant? Probably, during schooling days, basic biology facts weren't explained properly to the married couple. Or even a doctor can help in such a case, but an astrologer? God, save me!

India and astrology goes back a long way. The belief, which goes by the name ‘astrology’, has become a pain in my life in a huge way. Even though I don’t want to elaborate its effect in my life, let me warn you that this is a very bad addiction. The way people believe in the astrologers have made me a concerning figure amongst the masses. I don’t have any problem with people believing in the essence of God and his beautiful creations, but astrology? That is utter non-sense and pure crap. It is just another form of ‘low confidence’. If you aren’t able to perform well in your life in any field, the only remedy is to consult the stupid astrologers. It’s your life. Why consult somebody else in the matters of your own life? Aren’t you capable enough to take decisions in your life in your own independent ways? What good can a stone do to your already beautiful life? A costly stone can never bring good luck or good fortunes to your life if you sit idle in your home or if you do not work hard. So, it is just a matter of self-belief and self-confidence. If you have the right set of mentality and work according to your capabilities, then nothing can stop you from achieving success in life. And if you are really addicted to astrology, then you may consult about the uncertain stars in your future to some of damn astrologers, but please don’t spend your hard-earned money in the name of these god men. I have witnessed people spending thousands of bucks in the name of astrology for no valid reason at all. A very good example is the moron, whose stupid show is telecasted in a couple of channels, and who sits in a silver throne, talking unexplainable crap from his mouth. At the end of the show, people are requested to donate money in his numerous bank accounts. The name of the show claims that he has a ‘third eye’. Such daylight robbers should be seriously kept jailed in a Tihar cell. Have confidence in yourself and in your ability to achieve success, not in the words of some strange bearded man. Be happy.
