Websites:My Expectations!!

At this present age of internet, with fast growing online websites it has been a stellar ride for all of us, the users of the internet. Websites ranging from various fields have come up and which are available to us with only a click away. Website designers have come up with so many coming-off age techniques and designs to ensure their websites stand out in the race against so many other competitors. And many have impressed with their innovative ways to make us click on their website URLs. If a website successfully tempts us to visit it, we definitely would, provided it has the necessary information and other requirements we were initially looking after. Below are my thoughts about what we, the users of the internet look for in a website and the expectations thus generated. And possibly how it manages to reach and attract us despite the millions of others in the business.

With the advent of new software and designs, there are so many features and attractive new pop-outs once you enter a particular website. A web designer must particularly know how to exactly make the website attract most of the internet users, including those like me, who normally doesn’t click on any random website unless it is an ardent requirement to do so. Not because I am lazy, but because my internet connection is ultra slow. And thanks to reliance.  But the first and foremost thing that strikes me while dealing with a particular website is its name. Whatever way a website is promoted or advertised, if the website doesn’t have an attractive name, it certainly wouldn’t catch any attention. An eligible example would probably be theblogbowl.in. Once you hear the website’s name, you can know it is related to blogs or precisely, a collection of blogs. In other words, no other name would have attracted me. The name also shouldn’t be too hypocritical, which wouldn’t even allow the user to even pronounce or type it. The website should also have in it to be able to cater to the needs of us. You wouldn’t want to loiter in a website and waste your precious time without getting the desired result you were looking for. So, in other words, the website must also be able to direct the user accordingly and systematically without any confusion. If it cannot, obviously, my belief over the internet would go off. No one would want that, would they?  Besides, the content it contains should have the audacity to make my eye pupils sparkle. This means that the website should be eye-catching. You wouldn’t want to get struck in a dull-looking website unless it contains adult content.

Coming to my terms, my personal favourite website would be Google.com. No wonder I prefer a search engine than most other fashionable ones. The reason is very simple. I wouldn’t even dream of a life without Google. Besides being the simplest of the websites, where would you find a place where you do not have to waste any time browsing through items, hoping to successfully find or retrieve?  You just have to type the name of the item you are seeking to find information about. And bravo, you are in the game. In addition to the beautiful and attractive outlay of the website, it connects to all the other websites. It is like a supermarket of websites. I may sound odd but that is enough reason for it being my favourite website. Whenever I face any dilemma, keeping aside personal ones, Google is a click away. From information in school and college projects, to finding appropriate online marriage bureau, to any other random thoughts, you just have to make a search in Google and you are good to deliver. It is like a teacher or personal tutor. For an introvert person like me, Google has always been my personal favourite teacher. From getting lessons on the basis of life to love, it has been a big achievement, all thanks to Google.
